Broccoli Soup

1 big head broccoli florets
480ml water
1 tbsp chicken cube powder
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup milk
salt & pepper to taste
  1. Wash, cut the broccoli florets at the point where the stem is tender. Preheat the florets for 5-6 minutes, immediately puree the broccoli, blend them into 400ml cold water until smooth
  2. Heat butter in a pan, add flour & stir well until it starts bubbling.
  3. Then add chicken cube powder stir for about 30 second to 1 minute then add the pureed broccoli and milk.
  4. Add salt and pepper as per taste. Let it boil on the stove for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Cream of broccoli soup is ready to serve.
