Niku Jaga

150g thin slice beef
1 thin slice ginger – shredded
1 carrot – wedges cut
1onion – wedges cut
2 potato – wedges cut
2 or 3 snow peas or green beans
2tbsp tbsp japanese soy sauce
1 tbsp hondashi
1 tbsp oil
1 cup water

  1. Cut the carrot, potato, onion and green beans in to your preferred size.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan at a medium temperature; add the ginger till the smell came out, add beef, carrot, onion, potato, carrot and green beans, stir little bit
  3. Add the soy sauce, hondashi and water leaving to boil until the stock has reduced by half and simmer for a few minutes until the beef soft and tender
  4. Finally, add the snow peas if you don`t add green beans, serving
